What are some tasty, nutritious meals for toddlers?
Posted by: admin / Category: best meals for toddlersI’ve been doing a lot of roasted chicken with green beans, mashed potatoes, the occasional mac and cheese, and my daughter seems to really enjoy vegetable alphabet soup, but it seems to have a lot of sodium… need some meal ideas. NO Gerber Graduates or anything like that please!

I work in a toodler room in a nursery and i think that the meals provided by the cook are tasty and nutriuos and most of the children like them, for a toddler, they need to be simple, look appealing and it should be the same as you eat so that they are encouraged.
some ideas
- spaghetti bolonaigse
- homemdae pizza (can be fun also getting the little one involved)
- differant kinds of meat (pork, beef, chicken) with boiled poatoes
- pasta and a tomaoto sause
- chicken and a sause with rice
- fish and chips, using fresh fish and breadcrumnbing it yourself and making fresh chips or having potaotes and some veg as well

I have given my son ( when he was that age) things like wedding soup drained , grilled cheese and applesauce, peanut butter and jelly, diced meat with cheese and crackers…
